Shredded Family Pictures

What happens to your family pictures when you split up with your partner? Do you rip your partner out of your pictures? What do you think you should do with these family pictures? Were they from a happy time in your life? Do you have children? If you answered yes or no to any of these questions, read on.

When you marriage is over and there are boxes and boxes of family pictures of you, smiling and happy together, what happens to the pictures?

Most people rip out their partner and deface the picture? Do you think that is a reasonable, responsible adult thing to do? The pictures are the history of your life together. Those pictures belong to your children. They are the family history of years of happiness of your growth as well as your children’s.

When you get over the hurt and horror of the break up of your time together the pictures is all you will have left. The family pictures are the legacy your children will receive. They usually stay in contact with both parents even though they are living at different residences.

When you rip apart your family pictures you are ripping apart your family. Think of your children and their children. This is the best way out of a bad situation. You do not need to keep the pictures, if the children are to young now - put them in big plastic containers and store them for when they are old enough to appreciate them.

If you have more than one child there are many ways you can duplicate a photograph in an inexpensive way. Giving these pictures to your children when they graduate from high school or college will be the best gift you could even give them.
